When set onto a large wall surface area, manufactured stone veneer is heavy. Engineering specifications may be required to determine correct load bearing capability for interior wall applications over crawl spaces and basements. Insufficient support of the wall may result in flexing or cracking of the grout on the finished wall. Check with your contractor and local building codes for specific requirements!
