Our basalt columns are picked from our quarries and the ones that stand out from the rest get a sawn bottom and are transformed into monolithic pieces of art. Naturally weathered Basalt Columns are mostly grey with some brown and taupe variations. Many have natural lichens and moss growth. They are quarried in the Squamish Basin of southwestern British Columbia, Canada. Unlike other basalt columns from the Northwest, these columns have a great deal more character and rustic charm. The possibilities in the landscape are limited only to your imagination.
