Low Water Shutoff Switch, Diaphragm

The Little Giant RS-5 115-volt diaphragm switch can be used in sump systems, ponds, skimmers, fountains, hydroponic basins and with any utility pump. This switch can easily fit in small spaces such as a 5-gallon pail. The RS-5 is designed to control 60 Hz,115-volt pumps up to a maximum of 1/2 hp or 15 running Amps. This normally open/pump down switch starts and stops the pump automatically. The pump activates when water reaches 8" and shuts off when water falls down to 2" (+/- 0.5"). The switch is made of corrosion-resistant nylon and is suitable for use with non-potable water. Installation is easy with the piggyback plug. Just plug the pump into the switch's plug and plug the switch into the outlet. Mounting hardware is included.
