Offering a blend of good quality topsoil mixed with sand and chicken manure this is an excellent choice to build-out large landscaping beds in preparation for shrubs and general plantings.
Containing a greater silt and loam content than our organic garden soil, growmix is a heavier soil designed to help retain and hold water to better keep plants green throughout the heat of summer.
A good all-round choice for many landscape applications.

NEW PRODUCT, available FALL 2020 !
Yes, we are excited about this one for you!
This soil blend of organic compost with sand replaces our Black Garden Mix as our highest quality soil. This new soil features a rich mixture that has high nitrogen, potassium and phosphorous values to support strong plant growth. With high composted organic content this soil is dark in color and light in soil texture and WILL NOT compact with repeated watering.
Perfect for flower beds and vegetable gardens alike – just add seed or plants, bone meal – and water!
Our organic garden soil is ALSO AN EXCELLENT SOIL AMENDER for your existing garden beds or new landscape areas that are being turned into garden beds.
We further recommend turning a layer of this soil into your existing soil once a year for strong plant growth.
Without doubt, this is the best amender to improve soil structure and tilth for our clay-based soils commonly found on the Island. Yes, your plants will thank you!

Screened dirt is the ideal and economical solution for filling the bottom of large garden beds, or shaping bermed-up shrub beds. Best described as a sandy loam, we recommend topping this finely-screened soil with one of our soil blends that contain additional nutrients, or adding 5 pounds of 6-8-6 pelletized fertilizer per yard to enrich. With either addition, screened dirt will perform well and support strong root development and plant growth.
